Regenstein Castle

The impressively preserved rooms, worked in the rock, give an idea of how important and defensive Regenstein Castle once was.

Today Regenstein Castle in Blankenburg (Harz) is one of the special sights in the Harz. The open-air museum makes various rooms accessible and tells the story of Regenstein through many different exhibits. At Easter, Whitsun and in July, Regenstein Castle's past comes alive.

Whether with the Viking Festival or the Knight Spectacle: the story can be felt against the unique backdrop of the Regenstein. Further information and dates can also be found at:

Experience your individual adventure tour with our tour guide, in the shape of Count Albrecht II of Regenstein, through the eventful history of the castle and fortress complex.
