We regularly offer public guided tours for which no prior booking is necessary. All guided tour dates can be found in our event calendar. In addition, groups can book the adventure tours on special dates. The tourist information team will be happy to assist you with any questions.

Giuded tour through the moonlight castle gardens

The Baroque castle gardens of Blankenburg are particularly atmospheric at night with its illuminated fountain in the terrace garden by the little castle, with its mystical-looking Neptune grotto and the radiant feathers in the pheasant garden. Add to this a clear starry sky bathed in moonlight and the garden tour becomes a unique romantic experience.

House of Welf – guided tour of Blankenburg Castle

Learn about the historical significance of the castle for the European dynasty in the House of Welf (also known as Guelphs) and how it will be restored to its former splendour. With every booked tour or event you support the Association “Rettung Schloss Blankenburg e.V.” and become part of an unprecedented initiative.

Experience sublime simplicity – guided tours in the Michaelstein Monastery

You can experience monastic life and spiritual silence in the Michaelstein Monastery on one of the many themed tours. The focus is sometimes on the cloister building, the monastery gardens or the musical instrument museum with the new exhibition “Sound-Time-Space”. Individual group tours and evening tours are possible at any time. Special monastery experience programs are offered for children groups and school classes.
